Sophie Frankford, alongside Dalia Ibrahim and Dr. Kawkab Tawfik, organised a 1-day symposium, ‘Listening in: Music and Power in Egypt’. Sophie also presented her research, with a paper on “Sheikh Imam: The Radio Experiment”.   For event link, please see here.
