DESCRIPTION:Since the 1990s\, we have witnessed the emergence of generations of Arab oud players\, mainly working in Europe in close collaboration with musicians from jazz and world music scenes. Since then\, the oud has undergone transformations aimed at adapting it to sound performance situations\, through amplification and\, more recently\, electrification.\n \nWe have participated  to this afternoon at the French national Libray  about technical\, aesthetic and social issues related to the ‘ud amplification.
